August Safety Tip #1—Know Your Name, Number, & Address

This is the golden rule of safety. Your child should learn your full name, contact number, and address. It would be best if your child knows the details of both parents. Even if your child is small, try and teach them these basic details so that it can be shared in case of any emergency. It would be an added advantage if they know the nearest landmark to their home or the route. You can also keep a tag with all the details in your child’s pocket or bag. However, teach your children not to share these details with everyone, but only share them in case of an emergency.

The attorneys at Flickinger Sutterfield and Boulton are excited to partner with Wasatch Elementary to support reading. We will be a sponsor for the STAR Reader program to encourage students to read throughout the school year. Each month students can win a book of their choice and at the end of the year, there will be a drawing for a brand new mountain bike and helmet. We are personal injury attorneys so safety is important to us. Each month we will offer a safety tip for students and families. We thank all of you at Wasatch Elementary for allowing us to partner with you and are excited to start reading more.
