Calling All 5th and 6th Grade Students Who Love to Dance

The Wasatch Social Dance Club is taking applications for students to perform the Cha-Cha at the end of year Dance Festival.

You and a partner must submit your application by March 24th. Practices will be held Wednesday and Friday mornings starting after Spring Break. Print out the application HERE, or pick up an application from the front office or Mrs. Blanding.

General Information:

  • Available to 5th and 6th Grade Students.
  • Meetings will be on Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:40 AM to 8:15 AM (with the exception of non school days).
  • The first day of the Social Dance Club Perform Group will be April 12th, 2023. The last day will be May 26th, 2023 where we will perform in the end of year dance festival.
  • Applications are due March 24th, 2023.

Due to the nature of performing routines, students will be required to sign up with a partner. Parents of both students must sign the form.

Rules and Expectations:

  • Students must be on time.
  • Students must be respectful to all club members.
  • Students will dedicate the necessary time and effort to memorize the dance routine.
  • If a student is absent, they will be responsible for learning the dance material taught from their partner or Mrs. Blanding.

Failure to follow these rules and expectations may result in the following consequences:

  1. Sitting out of the lesson for the day
  2. Contacting the student’s parent(s) or guardian(s)
  3. Suspension from club activities for one week.
  4. Withdrawal of membership

El Club de Baile Social Wasatch está omando solicitudes para estudiantes para realizar el Cha-Cha en el Festival de Baile de fin de año.

Usted y un compañero deben presentar su solicitud antes del 24 de marzo. Las prácticas se llevarán a cabo los miércoles y vie es por la mañana a partir de después de las vacaciones de primavera. Imprime la solicitud AQUÍ, o recoge una solicitud en la oficina o en Mrs.

Información general:

  • Disponible para estudiantes de 5º y 6º grado.

  • El primer día del Grupo de Actuación del Club de Baile Social será el 12 de abril de 2023. El último día será el 26 de mayo de 2023 donde actuaremos en el festival de baile de fin de curso.
  • Las inscripciones se realizarán a las 8:00 de la mañana.
  • Las solicitudes deberán presentarse hasta el 24 de marzo de 2023.

Debido a la naturaleza de las rutinas de actuación, se requerirá que los estudiantes se inscriban con una pareja. Los padres de ambos estudiantes deberán firmar el formulario.

Reglas y expectativas:

  • Los alumnos deben ser puntuales.
  • Los alumnos deben ser puntuales.

  • Los estudiantes deben ser respetuosos con odos los miembros del club.
  • Los alumnos dedicarán el iempo y esfuerzo necesarios para memorizar la rutina de baile.
  • Si un alumno está ausente, será responsable de aprender el material de baile que le enseñe su pareja o la Sra. Blanding.

El incumplimiento de estas normas y expectativas puede acarrear las siguientes consecuencias:

      1. Salir de la lección por el día
      2. Contacto con los padres o utores del alumno
      3. Suspensión de la clase.
      4. Suspensión de las actividades del club durante una semana
      5. Retirada de la condición de socio
