Tell us about your family

• My husband and I have 5 children, 1 daughter and 4 sons. Aged 18, 15, 13, 9 and 8. I’m grateful that they have been able to be in many of your classes over the years!

Where are you from? Where have you lived?

• I am from Provo, and have lived here my whole life! I attended Wasatch, Dixon and Provo High School. My husband and I met at Provo High!

What do you like to do in your spare time? What are your hobbies?

• I love spending time with my family going on walks, eating yummy food and watching a show together. I love hiking, especially in Rock Canyon. I enjoy listening to books (I fall asleep if I read them) and other uplifting talks and podcasts etc.

What is your favorite book?

• Gilead, by Marilynne Robinson

What is your picture book?

• Bedtime for Frances by Russell Hoban Mr. Putter and Tabby books by Cynthia Rylant

What is your favorite young reader series?

• Dory Fantasmagory series by Abby Hanlon.

Tell me anything else you would like: (favorite or dream vacation, favorite foods, favorite music, teaching experience etc.)

• Grateful to be here teaching with you all. I admire and appreciate you! I taught 3rd grade before I had my children, now coming back.
• Favorite place I’ve ever been is Jerusalem, Israel, where I went on a semester abroad as a student, and got to visit again with my husband a couple of years ago for a 20 year reunion there.
