NewsThis is Mrs. Emma Charles’ first year teaching 2nd grade at Wasatch Elementary. Her favorite thing about teaching is making connections with her students and seeing them learn. She also loves learning about coding and technology. Mrs. Charles took piano lessons for eight years, grew up in North Carolina, and has one leg that is longer than the other. Mrs. Charles enjoys playing the piano, baking, and hiking. Her favorite food is Mexican food, and her favorite dessert is chocolate.
Mrs. Charles is the best. I love that she motivates the kids with class parties and activities. I love that she cares for them individually.
Mrs. Charles lets the kids do lots of fun activities. She is patient with the kids and helps them each feel special. Mrs. Charles also does a great job teaching her students about having a growth mindset. She can be really silly, and the kids love that about her!
