Why STEM?
Research from the last 30 years has shown that STEM education increases students’ academic success, problem-solving skills, creativity, and science process skills.
STEM classrooms also promote hands-on, project-, and problem-based learning, which is particularly beneficial for young children. And STEM education in elementary school will help to remove inequities that exist in STEM degree programs and careers.
