Provo City School District

Wasatch Elementary School

As we are gearing up for our Fall Festival on October 6th, 2023, we are now seeking extra hands to bring the festival’s behind the scenes details to life. No need to worry, most of the groundwork has been done but your assistance is what will make the event truly shine (and alleviate my anxieties)!

Volunteers

We are looking for 6-12 parent volunteers to help be committee supervisors who can dive right in, collaborating with the Fall Festival chairman and co-chair to refine those essential details. For a comprehensive understanding of the roles, find the job description and the sign up in the link below.

If being a committee supervisor is a bit overwhelming at the moment, but you’re still interested in contributing in a more manageable role within the mentioned committees, kindly indicate your preferred area of assistance below the committee supervisor sign up. We’ll reach out to you with lighter tasks that align with your availability and interests. Volunteers for Fall Festival Committee

Silent Auction

As part of our annual Fall Festival fundraiser, we are gathering items for the silent auction and raffle and would love some help from the Wasatch community and neighbors. We did this last year and loved the involvement we received and we would love to use this as an opportunity, again, to support and promote your local businesses to the Wasatch community. All items donated are tax exempt (see letter in the link below) and ALL of the proceeds we collect will go directly back to the teachers and students.

Here are some examples of things we are looking for but certainly NOT limited to:

  • Skills, Services or Products- can be donated in the form of a coupon or gift certificate, or the actual product
    • Music lessons (maybe a month of free lessons?)
    • Sewing lessons or alterations
    • Photography session
    • Pest control
    • House cleaning
    • Dog care
    • Accounting
    • Restaurant gift cards
  • Things you have around your home that are in new condition that people might be excited to win in the raffle or auction
    • An artist who would be willing to donate a work of art
    • Quilts
    • New supplies for arts/crafts
    • Sports equipment
    • Garden produce
    • Gift Cards

If you are willing to donate please contact Kendall Thurston at jobe76@gmail.com.

Additionally, we are also looking for monetary donations and sponsorships from businesses that can be found in the link below.
