Wasatch Talent Show Information
Hello Parents!
Thank you for all you have done to help your student prepare for the Wasatch Student Talent Show! The talent show is such a rewarding way for students to show their talents to their classmates and it’s amazing to see all the incredible things these students can do! It’s one of our highlights of the year to be able to help put this together, and we appreciate you so much.
Come Watch!
Your student’s act will be in the K-3rd Grade Talent Show which will begin at 9 am in the Wasatch Gym on Friday, March 7. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend! You may want to be five minutes early to find a seat. We hope to see you there.
Complete the Talent Show Participant Information Form
If you haven’t already done so, please fill out the Talent Show Participant Information form (below) so that we have all the information we need to make the upcoming dress rehearsal and assemblies go smoothly. If your student’s act requires music and you have trouble pasting a link of your audio file in the form, feel free to email me the audio files at swursten@gmail.com.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal
A mandatory dress rehearsal will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 3:20 to 5:45 pm so that your student will have the opportunity to practice their act on stage with full audio in the order of the program. Please encourage your student to bring snacks, homework or a book to read during any downtime. Please let us know by Tuesday March 4 if your student has any scheduling conflicts. Students will be able to leave the rehearsal after they have practiced their act on stage, so please encourage your student to communicate with you if they finish early. If your student’s talent will be shown as a video during the assembly, there will be a short instruction for them at the start of the dress rehearsal, and they will be ready for pickup at 3:45 pm.
Volunteers Needed
We are looking for volunteers to help backstage during the dress rehearsal after school on Thursday March 6 and during the talent show assemblies on Friday March 7. Volunteers would direct students to and from the stage, set up props for performances, and other stage crew duties. If you are available to help, please sign up!
Thank you so much for all that you do! We are excited to see your students on Thursday!
As always, if you have any questions, please ask! swursten@gmail.com or paws4wasatch@gmail.com
Gratefully,
Sara Wursten
