What is Battle of the Books?

Battle of the Books is a fun reading program offered at Wasatch where kids are assigned to read 4-5 books they will then come together as teams to test their knowledge of the books they read. In April, teams that advance will compete against other elementary school teams within the district.

PAWS is helping the Wasatch Librarians raise money to continue Battle of the Books. To donate, Venmo PAWS4Wasatch. In the notes, please put “Battle of the Books”

What the Money will be used for:

• 5 copies of each of the 20 3rd/4th grade books
• 1 copy of each of the 20 3rd/4th grade books in Spanish
• 7 copies of each of the 20 5th/6th grade books
• 1 copy of each of the 20 5th/6th grade books in Spanish
• Lanyards
• Badge Covers
• Pins
• Prizes for 1st & 2nd place from 3rd/4th grade battle winners
• Prizes for 1st & 2nd place from 5th/6th grade battle winners
• End of Year Celebration items & small prizes
