- Tap rhythms with quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes.
- Sing songs in pentatonic mode (songs with do, re, mi, sol, and la)
- I can sight read songs I know on the staff.
- I can conduct songs in 2, 3 and 4 meter.
- I can tap and identify syncopated rhythms (ti-ta-ti)
- I can read and write syncopated rhythms.
- I can draw a music map
- I can identify and sing songs with low la in them.
- I can identify and write dotted quarter notes.
- I can identify and write dotted half notes.
- I can write rhythms with ti-tiki (eighth note attached to two sixteenth notes).
Christmas Special: O Tannenbaum!
This year, we had Christmas in Germany! We learned how to sing O Christmas Tree in its traditional German.
