The PCSD theme for this school year is “Find Your Swing” – based on the book “The Boys In The Boat” by Daniel James Brown. Superintendent Wendy Dau has announced a contest for students to design a pin representing this theme. Your design could become this pin! These pins will be awarded to everyone that reads the book. Submit your best artwork that represents the theme, “Find Your Swing,” for a chance to have your design become the pin.

Winning art will be made into an enamel pin!

• Contest open to all PCSD Students K-12
• All types of art considered
• Entry Deadline December 13, 2023

The winning art will be chosen based on:

• How well it represents the theme
• How well it can be duplicated as a pin

Submission can be turned into your school’s office. Be sure to include:

• Your name and school
• Artist statement – Tell us about your art and how it relates to the theme
