Did you know?…children who are given access to books over the summer perform 35-40% better on reading achievement tests. Reading daily or even listening to an audiobook will help your student to be successful next year and a to become a better reader. 

Wasatch Library Summer Hours

We will be open during the month of June! Come visit us Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-1pm.

5 ways to get your student reading this summer:

  • Start reading or listening to next year’s Battle of the Books
  • Bring books or audiobooks with you on summer trips and vacations
  • Take regular trips to the library
  • Join a summer reading program
  • Join a book club or other book subscription service
  • Introduce your child to a popular book series

Summer Reading Programs

  • Provo Public Library—Summer Reading Kickoff June 2, 4:00-6:00. Complete activities and challenges and earn prizes! 
  • Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program (English)—Read 8 books, earn a Free Book, Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program (Spanish)
  • Pizza Hut Camp Book It Reading Program—When your student meets their monthly reading goal, your student will receive a free one-topping Personal Pan Pizza® from Pizza Hut!
