Emily Ess loves seeing how her students grow throughout the year and enjoys being around their sweet and unique personalities! She loves to travel and has a goal to visit every continent! When she has some spare time, she enjoys reading. Mrs. Ess said she will eat anything (except for mint), as long as it’s not alive when it enters her mouth. Cooking, reading, traveling, and trying new foods are some things that Mrs. Ess enjoys. Her favorite foods are Asian dishes, and her favorite dessert is anything that contains dark chocolate with nuts.

Mrs. Ess has really fun parties each month for the kids who meet their reading goal. One of our kids in her class has a lot of food allergies and Mrs. Ess made it possible every time for them to participate. She was so good at communicating what safe options she could bring for our kiddo and went out of her way to make sure our child felt included, special, and had a fun time. She is fantastic!!

I really appreciate her focus on writing. She is making an effort in something that will benefit them forever.
