Welcome to 1st GradeI have been teaching for 33 years. 17 of those years have been right here at Wastch. My Master’s Thesis was on how young children write and it still fascinates me! I love working with young children. I am always amazed at what they can do and they make me laugh each day which makes me happy.

Women.They sacrifice so much for those around them, whether it is reciprocated or not. Grateful to be one of them.

Fun Facts

I have LOVED being a grandma. My grandaughter is so fun. It really is the best gig ever!I love animals and travel and when I can combine the two, I am at my most happiest.I have ridden a yak and seen pandas in China, held a Koala and fed Rainbow Lorikeets in Australia, rode horses in Fiji, fed Rainbow Lorikeets in Australia, rode horses in Fiji, fed “coos” in Scotland and swam with tea turles in Hawaii.
