Welcome to the 5th Grade

I think sharks are fascinating!!! Right now my top three sharks are: Epaulette (can walk on its fins in tide pools and hunt while holding its breath for up to 40-ish minutes). Wobbegong (has the frilliest face I have ever seen – so cool!), and the Puff Adder Shy Shark (it curls up like a cat and glows in the dark under a black light – awesome sauce!!) I look forward to Shark Week every July and totally nerd out right before school starts up again 🙂

Favorite Subject

I really like math, messy science, and reading.

Favorite Book

Just one??? Too hard 😉 One of my favorite authors is Lisa Scottoline though.

Fun Facts

I have two cats, Phoenix and Bella. I would much rather plan a math lesson than try to plan a party (parties are sooooo not in my skill set – lol!!), and the students in my classes are absolutely positively certainly the awesomest part of my job each day!!!

I like to help people when I can, I also like to cheer people up and sometimes plan surprises for them.
