Serving on the Wasatch Community Council is a wonderful way for parents to be involved at our school. The purpose of the Council is to involve parents in decision-making at the school level and to improve the education of students. The Wasatch Community Council consists of 12 members: 8 parent or guardian members and 4 employee members, including the principal. Each member (except the principal) is elected by their peers and serves a two-year term.
We are calling for the nomination of 4 parent/guardian members who would be willing to serve for the next two years beginning on July 1, 2024.
The responsibilities of the Community Council are as follows:
If you would like to nominate yourself or someone you know to serve on the Wasatch Community Council, please submit your nomination BY EMAILING YOUR NAME AND A SHORT PARAGRAPH ABOUT YOURSELF TO TONJA ROBERTS (tonjar@provo.edu) by Wednesday, MAY 8th.
Voting will be held MAY 10th THROUGH MAY 17th if more than four parents/guardians are nominated.
Sincerely,
Chris Fuhriman, Principal
Sara Wursten & Emilie Nelson, Council Chairs
