Wasatch Elementary School

Attention ALL ‘DADS’ of Wasatch Elementary Students! Come chill with a Watch DOG and have some ice cream!!

Fathers and Father-figures,

On September 7th from 6-6:45 p.m. we will be having our 2nd annual “Dads and Kids” kick off event at our school. We will have you park on the south side of the school and enter in the southwest doors at 6:00 p.m. for FREE ice cream and activities with your kids. At 6:15 p.m. we will have a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads of Great Students) Program while students will go to several activities outside. WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provid an extra set of eyes and ears.

Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers…this is your chance to have a night out alone with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.

In order to participate, you need to do two things:

  1. Fill out the bottom portion of the slip that was sent home with your student by Tuesday the 5th of September saying that you will attend the ice cream night so we’ll have an accurate headcount for the food.
  2. Mark your calendars, and we’ll see you Thursday the 7th of September from 6:00-6:45 pm.
