NewsAttention ALL ‘DADS’ of Wasatch Elementary Students! Come chill with a Watch DOG and have some ice cream!!
Fathers and Father-figures,
On September 7th from 6-6:45 p.m. we will be having our 2nd annual “Dads and Kids” kick off event at our school. We will have you park on the south side of the school and enter in the southwest doors at 6:00 p.m. for FREE ice cream and activities with your kids. At 6:15 p.m. we will have a presentation about our WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads of Great Students) Program while students will go to several activities outside. WATCH D.O.G.S.® is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provid an extra set of eyes and ears.
Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers…this is your chance to have a night out alone with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.
In order to participate, you need to do two things:

El 7 de septiembre de 6-6:45 p.m. endremos nuestro 2do evento anual “Papás y Niños” en nuestra escuela. Tendremos que estacionar en el lado sur de la escuela y entrar por las puertas suroeste a las 6:00 p.m. para helado GRATIS y actividades con sus hijos. A las 6:15 p.m. endremos una presentación sobre nuestro WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Programa de Padres de Grandes Estudiantes) mientras los estudiantes irán a varias actividades afuera. WATCH D.O.G.S.® es un programa innovador usado por escuelas en oda América que les ayuda a ser impactados positivamente por la participación comprometida de padres y figuras pate as en la vida de sus estudiantes. Nuestro objetivo es que pases al menos un día de este año en la escuela para ser un modelo masculino positivo y proporcionar un par de ojos y oídos extra.
Padres y abuelos, padres y figuras pate as, pueden ayudar a sus hijos en la escuela.
Papás, abuelos, íos, padrastros y hermanos adultos… esta es u oportunidad de pasar una noche a solas con u alumno en un ambiente divertido en el colegio.
