Principal’s Message 9.3.24
Dear Wasatch Families,
Happy September! I hope you enjoyed the long holiday weekend. We concluded our last week of August with a fantastic Health and Safety Week made possible by our extraordinary PAWS volunteers. Students enthusiastically participated in the daily activities that were planned and it was perfect timing to remind students about the importance of healthy habits, bicycle safety, CPR and fire safety.
Beginning Tuesday, September 3, fathers or father figures of our students can volunteer for our Watch DOGS program. You can sign up to be a Watch DOG by using this link. This is a wonderful tradition we want to continue! Thank you to those who have already signed up to volunteer.
The Wasatch Choir will begin morning rehearsals Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:40. Students need to enter through the front doors of the school. All other entrances will be locked. PLEASE DO NOT SEND SIBLINGS EARLY WITH CHOIR STUDENTS. THERE IS NO SUPERVISION AND PARENTS WILL BE CALLED. The school will be open for choir members ONLY.
Lastly, we have several important calendar items we wanted to make you aware of in the coming days, including Vision Screening, Vision Screening Volunteers, and School Picture Day! Be sure to regularly check the school calendar for these events.
At Wasatch Elementary, we strive to empower all learners for life! Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Ruth Ann Snow, Principal
