Mrs. Teura Tanuvasa (or Mrs. T, as her students call her) teaches first grade at Wasatch. She was born and raised in Hawaii, knows how to Polynesian dance, and can play the piano. One of her favorite things about teaching is seeing that “lightbulb” moment in students when they start to make sense of their world! She also loves that she learns something new about teaching every day, and grows along with her students. Mrs. T. likes to read and play video games with her husband. Her favorite food is any kind of pasta and chocolate chip cookies.
