Cougs vs Cancer Rex Lee Run Race March 28, 2020

We’re looking forward to having you and your students at the 2020 Cougs vs. Cancer Rex Lee Run! The competition is simple; the school with the greatest percentage of registrations as compared to their school population will win a visit from the BYU Dunk Team!

The Cougs vs Cancer Rex Lee Run is a proud annual tradition at BYU, now in its 25th year! The event includes a 5K, 1K Fun Run for kids, and a Community Carnival. 100% of ALL PROCEEDS go to fund BYU student cancer research fellowships through the BYU Simmons Center for Cancer Research. The race honors Rex E. Lee, former President of BYU and founding Dean of the J. Reuben Clark Law School, who passed away from cancer.

Schedule: 

Same-day registration—opens at 7:30am (timing chip & shirt not guaranteed. Exact change and credit card will be accepted.)

Opening Ceremonies—8:15 am

1K Fun Run—8:45 am

5K—9:00 am

All races begin and end on the BYU Robison Outdoor Track.

Be sure to register with your unique school code – WASATCH – so we can track registrations. It also gives you 5% off. Share with your community, families, and friends.

Regardless of who wins, the Run is a fantastic event that is fun for the whole family, and supports a great cause.  Thank you again for being involved and helping us in the fight against cancer!
