Wasatch Elementary School

Dear Wasatch Family,

This year, our PAWS theme has been “Stronger Together.” Our goal has been to Strengthen our school by building a stronger relationship between the Chinese Immersion and STEM tracks and within our community.

We’re grateful for our Teachers and staff at Wasatch as they are one of a kind! They’ve come together and supported our goal in building stronger relationships. We’re grateful to them for helping put on the Chinese New Year Activities as well as the STEM Night for the entire community to enjoy! We’re also grateful to them for getting the kids together, having fun activities throughout the year and helping us become Stronger Together. We really can’t say enough about our Teachers and staff! Thank you!

We are Stronger Together with the help of our PAWS Board! Bike to School week, Red Ribbon week, Spirit Week, Family Dance, Grandparent’s Days, International week, Teacher Appreciation week, Writer’s Olympics, the Talent Show, Science Fair and so many other activities are all made possible because of our wonderful volunteer PAWS parents. Our biggest event, Fall Festival makes all the difference in being able to support the administration, faculty and students at Wasatch. It’s a huge undertaking and deserves a shout out to all who helped make the magic happen!! Thank you!

Our Principals, Mr. Fuhriman and Mr. Porter, we’re grateful to you for all your support of our goal of becoming a “Stronger Together” Wasatch Community. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to put on our various activities and especially the Chinese New Year’s and STEM Night programs. Thank you for all you do in supporting our children and our community.

This year we were also able to Strengthen our community with the Watch Dogs Program. Thank you to all the father figures who came in and supported!

We’re happy to introduce our incoming PAWS Presidency for the next school year: Heather Kelley and Becky Bundy will serve as co-presidents, Annalee Hickman Peirson as secretary, and Joy Burton as treasurer. They are an amazing team! We’re grateful for their willingness to serve our Wasatch community.

To our beloved Wasatch family, we have been humbled to see how strong our Wasatch family really is this year! It’s been a rough but great year! We’re grateful to you all for coming together in times of need! THANK YOU for all your support! Our Wasatch Community is STRONGER TOGETHER!

Sincerely, Amy Bates, Heather Kelley, Heidi Rich, and Kristina Parkinson Co-Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer 2022/2023
