PAWS (Patrons At Wasatch School) is our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) here at Wasatch! We always welcome any and all volunteers and love to meet new faces! We fulfill many roles at the school, but most importantly that of supporting the staff and teachers in providing a better experience for our children. Our volunteers help execute and administer a variety of programs throughout the year with that goal in mind.

Our Theme this year is Stronger Together. We hope that we can build stronger relationships at Wasatch by helping one another, being kind, and working together. “Alone we can do so little; Together we can do so much” – Helen Keller.

All are welcome to join our monthly meetings which are usually held on the first Friday of each month at 8:50 AM in room 33. Our first meeting will be Friday, August 26th. We will have a video link available for anyone who would like to join but can’t join us in person. We hope to see you next Friday!

Attached you’ll find a calendar of activities PAWS will be planning throughout the year. Emails will be sent out asking for volunteers to help out (these typically go out a few times throughout the month) from the school, please keep your eye out for those. Younger children are allowed to come and be with you as you volunteer, if there is a specific event that we can’t have younger children come to, we will be sure to specify that on the signup.

Our largest fundraiser of the year is our Fall Festival and all are invited to join as it is a community event, mark your calendars for September 23 from 4 – 7 pm and spread the word! All funds raised at the Fall Festival are donated directly to the classrooms and programs throughout the school benefiting your children and the experiences they get to have within that year.

Other ways you can support PAWS: Sodalicious drink and cookie punch cards for $20 each in the front office. They’re good for 10 – 32 oz (2 mix-ins) drinks or 10 cookies. Box tops – download the Box Tops app, link your account to Wasatch Elementary and scan your grocery receipts. Smith’s grocery store you can create an account at SmithsFoodandDrug.com click on My Account, then Inspiring Donations, and link your loyalty card to Wasatch Elementary (# EN990). Krispy Kreme BOGO (buy one get one) cards for sale in the front office. The cards are good for 1 FREE dozen Original Glazed doughnuts with the purchase of any dozen. T-Shirt and Yearbook orders can still be submitted. Please use the link to fill out the order form. ¡Bienvenidos a PAWS!

¡PAWS (Patrons At Wasatch School) es nuestro PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) aquí en Wasatch! Siempre damos la bienvenida a todos los voluntarios y nos encanta conocer caras nuevas. Cumplimos muchas funciones en la escuela, pero la más importante es la de apoyar al personal y a los maestros para proporcionar una mejor experiencia para nuestros niños.
