Wasatch Elementary School

There have been a lot of questions about how we will be doing Halloween this year. With Covid restrictions it will obviously be different, but I think our kids still need to have something fun and kind of normal.

Here are the school-wide expectations:

Costumes—Yes, students will be allowed to wear costumes on Thursday, the 29th. All of the costume rules still apply. No full costume masks (I’m excited to see how kids incorporate their Covid masks into their costumes!), no weapons, nothing too gory please.

Class Parties—Yes, classes can have parties. Parent volunteers will not be able to attend the party but can still ask teachers for ways they can help organize, plan games, send supplies, etc.

Parade—Sorry, no parade this year. I know, we’re all disappointed that I won’t get to parade around in my tiger footie pajamas, complete with hood and ears, but all that traveling around and through classrooms and crowds is not a good idea this year.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.

Thank you!
